So, it’s the end of January 2010, and I note with alarm that this site hasn’t been updated in a very long time.  Hopefully, that can be remedied this weekend.

This last week, we received approval on the electrical rough-in and final framing.  So, we’ve got permission to cover the framing.  Monday, insulation will start, and in a week the drywallers will be hard at work.  We’re expecting that effort to take four weeks, with another two or so on interior trim.  By the end of March, floorcovering, cabinets, and appliances should be getting installed.

The outside effort is further ahead.  The porch floor is being poured, and Will is busy applying exterior paint.  There are shingles to be applied to a few of the dormers; the exterior doors have been removed to prevent damage during the following construction (concrete, drywall, and paint).  The exterior of the house should be 100% in just a few weeks.
